Maximizing Solar Energy Absorption Choose the Right Place to Install the Solar Panel for Solar Energy Absorbtion

We recommend installing solar panels in a location with direct vertical sunlight. We do not recommend installing them under eaves or under trees, where shade can affect solar energy conversion and may result in solar panels that do not absorb sunlight well for power storage.

The solar panels may not be sufficiently charged due to long transport, please fully charge for 8-10 hrs after receive the lights.

When the solar panel is fully charged, need to press the “ON/OFF” button on the back of the solar panel to “on” state, use the remote control and the “mode” button on the back of the solar panel to turn on the light string. The solar panel must be in a dim environment without any light source around, because our light string is light-sensitive, in the daytime or surrounded by bright light, it will lead to the light string does not work.

Solar panel’s ON/OFF button is the main power supply switch.

Only in ON status, the solar panel’s MODE button can adjust the color temperature, the remote control’s ON button can control the light.

MODE:2700K/4000K/5000K/3CCT JUMP/3CCT FADE,but the main power switch is not turned off, next time no need to press the ON/OFF button to open the solar panel again.

Remote control’s ON/OFF button only controls the light string, does not control the main power switch. After pressing OFF button, the light string off, but the solar panel is still on work status.

The string lights don’t work and stopped working after a short time of use.

1. Check the status of your solar panel as the string lights ONLY work in ON mode.

2. Try to charge the string light via the USB port about 8 hours.

After fully charging, the string lights only last for 2-3 hours.

The charging time varies with the intensity of sunlight, location and weather conditions. So please check with the USB port to charge. Each time with fully charged can used up to 8-10 hours.

Is there an on/off switch for when I don’t want them on all night?

Yes, they will automatically light up in the evening and off in daytime with light sensor. If you don’t want them on all night you can turn off the switch on the solar panel.

Can I attach multiple strings of these lights together？

No,this solar string light can’t be connected together as one solar panel can only offer enough power to one string light. Only supports up to 48ft length. We also sealed the tail of the light string for better water resistance.

How do I clear the timer mode after setting it?

If you want to close the timer mode, you need to press the “off” button of the remote control and then turn on the “on”, the timer mode is cleared.
